My monthly TAB meetings are a high priority, not just to be there for my fellow members, but also to just step back and take a fresh look at where I'm are going in my business. So often, I glean an unexpected take away from working someone else's issue or hearing someone else's break through. You just get into a zone of dialog you do not experience anywhere else.
Bill Cox, President, Cox Manufacturing Co Inc.
It kills me when I have to miss a TAB meeting. In a family business, it's a place were I can talk about anything confidentially, including family! I get exciting ideas from both the facilitator and from other members.
Kevin Johnson, President, Johnson Brothers Bakery Supply
I used to be the first one in every morning and the last one to go home at night. My TAB Board has taught me that working hard isn't the same as managing the business well. Now I'm enjoying myself more, and incidentally, making more money!
Bob Knoll, President, Millenium Packaging Inc.
I always feel better when I leave our monthly meeting, if only because I'm reminded about things I know, but forgot to keep doing.
Dave Ahokas, President, Pick'n'Pull Inc.
TAB has given me the opportunity to discuss the business with people other than my employees. It has changed my relationships at work, because I'm not forced to rely on their experience as the only supplement to my own. I'm enjoying my business more than I have in a long time.
